A little about me

Hi! I am Dr. Nicole Lizzio, DACM, L.Ac., a NCCAOM board certified and licensed acupuncturist. I discovered acupuncture when I was just 15 years old, (thanks mama for starting me on my journey to this medicine!) Over time, I became amazed at the efficacy of such gentle treatments and decided this was the path I would follow.

I received both my Masters & Doctorate degrees from the American College of Traditional Chinese Medicine (ACTCM) in San Francisco, California; and my Bachelors in Kinesiology from the University of San Francisco. Throughout undergraduate & graduate school I worked at Blue Ova Health, a locally renown Integrative Healthcare Center in San Francisco and trained with Clinical Director Robin Sheared, L.Ac., FABORM, for 5 years. I went on to work extensively in the field of Women’s Health, and have supported numerous couples on their journey towards conception, pregnancy, and postnatal care.

My focus is in supporting both women and men facing fertility challenges, undergoing IVF/IUI, and those looking for natural alternatives to balancing hormones, treating menstrual irregularities or wanting pregnancy & postnatal care. I truly enjoy guiding and educating my patients on their health journey through the use of Acupuncture, Chinese Herbology, nutrition, and lifestyle recommendations.

My goal is to create long lasting changes in the overall health of the body by treating the root cause of any internal imbalances. Through my guidance, I will encourage you to cultivate a relationship with your own well being so you can learn to tune-in to what your body needs in order to restore balance.
