What is Vitamin C

Vitamin C is a water-soluble vitamin. This vitamin gets flushed out of your system, hence it needs to be replenished on a daily basis. The best sources of this vitamin are fresh fruits and vegetables; however, it can also be taken in the form of dietary supplements. Vitamin C helps the body in forming and maintaining the connective tissues, which include the bones, skin, and blood vessels. This vitamin also enhances the immune strength and assists in the repair and regeneration of the tissues. In short, this vitamin helps in performing many vital functions in the human body.
