Take control of your reproductive health

Whether you are struggling with fertility challenges or are looking to optimize the health of your body for conception, we want to be present to help guide you throughout your entire journey. Our goal is to help you cultivate a deeper understanding of how to provide the best care for your body during this time.

How Acupuncture Works:

The Chinese have used acupuncture to regulate the female reproductive system for thousands of years. Acupuncture is a Traditional Chinese Medicine technique that has been used for over 3,000 years, where surgically sterilized needles, (as thin as a hair), are used to stimulate specific energy pathways throughout the body. Acupuncture affects the central and peripheral nervous system. The precise placement of the needles triggers our brain to release endorphins which help moderate our stress response, and balance hormone levels.

We encourage weekly Acupuncture treatments to support each phase of your menstrual cycle, and we treat your body as a whole to best optimize it for pregnancy. Acupuncture done for 12-16 weeks prior to conception has been known to significantly enhance fertility. Because it takes about 3 months for an egg to mature, we use this time to prepare the body for conception by balancing hormones, improving egg quality & nourishing uterine lining.

Balance Hormones: Acupuncture and herbal medicine can both be used to correct hormonal imbalances,  promote a healthy menstrual cycle, and restore the natural balance between physical and emotional health.

Promote Circulation: Acupuncture helps increase blood supply to the uterus, this not only supports healthy ovarian follicles, but also reduces inflammation, boosts  embryo implantation and increases uterine lining.

Support IVF & ART: Doctors of Acupuncture can work together with your Reproductive Endocrinologist or OB/GYN to complement your treatments and ensure you're receiving the best integrative care possible.

Male Factor: When it comes to fertility, both men and women are equally important. New sperm generates every 72 days, therefore making lifestyle adjustments along with weekly acupuncture can significantly improve sperm health.
